Baja Splash Cultural Festival

Our initiative addressed the financial challenges faced by our community by sponsoring 20 deserving families for a cost-free day at the Aquarium of the Pacific during the annual Baja Splash Cultural Festival. This event coincided with National Hispanic Heritage Month and Mexican Independence Day, celebrating Hispanic cultures through music, dance, art, and education. We aimed to bring joy and education to families who may have been financially constrained and to commemorate these important cultural moments.

The sponsored families enjoyed access to live performances, interactive mural painting, dance performances, and marine life exhibits from Baja, Mexico. We provided a catered buffet lunch and $50.00 Visa cards for each family to spend at the gift shop, ensuring a delightful and comfortable experience. This activation demonstrated our commitment to breaking down financial barriers, fostering cultural appreciation, and supporting our community’s diverse heritage, enriching lives and creating lasting memories for those who attended.
